Saturday's action from the 2018 Littleton Slapshot Tournament wrapped up with a PeeWee B match up between the Tri-Valley Blue Devils and the Colorado Junior Eagles at the Ice Ranch.
The Blue Devils wasted next to no time establishing themselves, as Kory Self (3G, 2A) scored just 21 seconds into the game to give them a 1-0 lead. James Gray tied it up at 1-1 a few minutes later for the Eagles, but Self would strike again at the end of the first to give Tri-Valley the lead back going into the second period.
The rest of the game would belong to the Blue Devils, as they would score the next nine goals in a row, including seven goals in the span of 6:04 in the second to pull away to a convincing 11-1 win. DJ Van Fleet (2G, 1A), Kai Sprague (1G, 2A), Junjie Gao (2G), Nolan Moore (1G, 2A), and Jake Powers (1G, 1A) all lit the lamp and had multiple points for Tri-Valley in the victory.
#98 Kory Self - Tri-Valley Blue Devils PeeWee B
Kory led his Blue Devils team in goals (7) and was tied for the team lead in points (10), while picking up five points (3G, 2A) with a hat trick against the Eagles.
