#14 Branden Stieduhar scores for the Littleton Hawks to give them a 3-0 lead at the end of the thrid period in their Rocky Mountain Silver Stick matchup with the Colorado Rampage at the Promenade on Friday.
The Rocky Mountain Silver Stick tournament kept on rolling with more PeeWee AA pool play on Friday, as the Colorado Rampage and the Littleton Hawks tangled at the Promenade.
Littleton pounced on the Rampage early and often in the first period, scoring three goals in the first eight minutes of the game to take a 3-0 lead into the second. Kail Burns (1G, 1A) got them started less than three minutes into the game, while teammate Michael Manville (1G, 1A) added the only goal of the second period to put the Hawks up 4-0 after two.
The final period would produce more of the same, as Littleton netted two more scores to help them pull away to a 6-0 win. The Hawks used a well balanced attack, with six different players tallying goals and goaltender Brayden Johnson holding it down between the pipes to guide them to the shutout victory.
#2 Sam Tayloe scores an unassisted goal just minutes into the third period to extend Littleton's lead to 5-0.
