The 2017 8U Pioneer Classic Championship came down to a title game match-up between the Krivo school of hockey and Evolution on Sunday at Magness Arena.  The two teams took to the home ice of the Pioneers less than 24 hours after the University of Denver was crowned the 2017 NCAA hockey championship in Chicago in hopes of capturing some of that title game magic along with a 2017 Pioneer Classic Championship.

Krivo would continue it's brilliant play throughout the tournament by scoring the first three goals of the game to give them all the cushion they would need.  Evolution's Niko Julian scored to bring them within 3-1 with less than a minute left in the first period, but Krivo would get five more goals over the final two periods to pull away to a 8-2 championship victory.

Dain Gordon would net himself  a hat trick and teammate Tate Spaulding would add two goals himself to help guide Krivo to the 2017 8U Pioneer Classic Championship.

Krivo goes up 3-0 in the first period on this top shelf laser in the championship of the 2017 8U Pio Classic.
